English Camp Begins Tomorrow!

Greetings from the Czech Republic!

Praise God that we arrived here in Kromeriz on Wed. night safely even through many interesting close-calls. It was never boring. With not much layover time in Detroit and after running to our gate, the plane waited for all of those coming from LA on our way to Amsterdam. It was good flight, but with little sleep as every seat had its own little tv set where you could watch movies, play games, music, etc... We landed in Amsterdam and then made our way to Prague where we were picked up by our missionary. The trailer with some of your luggage had a flat tire, but thankfully some of the guys ran into Prague to get a new one. God is alway our faithful provider.

Kromeriz, where our missionary's church is, is a small but very scenic city with awesome architecture and some buildings almost 300 years old. For the first time, I got to sleep in a church on a small mattress on the floor that was actually pretty comfortable. Yesterday, we helped out the Roberts (the missionary family) helping landscaping their yard and enjoying a nice meal afterwards. Tonight, we are packing up and heading to Trojanovice which is a little over an hour away where the English camp will be. Please pray for us as we teach conversational English to over 70 Czechs that have signed up and then share the gospel with them at night. Well, till the next time!

Arrived Safely

Ahoy (This is how you say hello in Czech)! After 26 hours of travel (stories to come), the team safely arrived in beautiful Kroměříž, Czech Republic at 11:30PM local time! Today is our first day in this town. After sleeping in a bit to recover from jetlag, Lance (GCC Missionary) took us to lunch and showed us around the town. We'll spend today and tomorrow doing some last minute preparations for the English camp we'll be hosting in Trojanovice (The two Bruins on the team love the name) . We'll be heading out to Trojanovice Saturday until till next Friday. Pray that God will open up doors for the gospel while we're at the camp.

Here's a bit about the town of Kroměříž:
Kroměříž city is located 270 km from Prague between Brno and Ostrava cities.
Its about three hour way from Prague by car on highway.
International airport is in Prague, smaller one than in Brno and Ostrava city.
